Priyanka Chopra & Shahid Kapoor Break Up #2!

Seriously, what is up with these two? They spend more tabloid time breaking up then making out! The buzz is that Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have split again. In fact this time the claws are out and they’ve gone ahead and declared virtual war by un-following each other on Twitter. I’m told the break-up happened just before Christmas when Priyanka was gonna start shooting for Anjaana-Anjaani on January 3 in New York, but she left a week early just to escape the drama. A source close to the couple revealed to local tabloid Mid Day, “They had a huge fight before she left for her New York schedule. Shahid brought up the subject of her co-star Ranbir Kapoor, which irritated her and things got ugly. Earlier whenever there was a tussle, PC would try and make peace. However, this time she was in no mood to fix it.” The last time they’d split it was Shahid’s call but he soon realized the error of his ways and won back everybody’s favorite desi girl. I guess this time PC figured she was getting a raw deal (literally if you’ve ever noticed his crazy diet!) and decided to do the walking. Ah sweet, sweet revenge.

Deepika Padukone: 24 – Single – PYT.

Deepika Padukone turned 24 on January 5th 2010. She’s one of those rare model-turned-actor success stories which gives the thousands who pour into to Mumbai (armed with nothing but their portfolio and a head-full of dreams) on a daily basis (often false) hope. Deepika started her career as a successful model and then made her debut in Bollywood with Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She bagged the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and Ranbir Kapoor’s heart in her very first year in Bollywood. She followed that up with an impressive performance in 2009’s blockbuster hit Love Aaj Kal opposite Saif Ali Khan. She is no longer dating Ranbir (due to, I’m told a combination of mummy Neetu’s disapproval and Katrina Kaif’s long eye lashes) but she’s going through an impressive line-up of costars regardless. Deepika is currently shooting for Karthik Calling Karthik with Farhan Akhtar *sigh* and I’m guessing has no plans to cut her hair short anytime soon!

I don’t know if this qualifies as a break up (since it sounds like it was mostly the figment of an overzealous paparazzi imagination but what the heck; Genelia D’Souza has Twittered a retort about reports that she’s engaged to marry fellow actor Riteish Deshmukh, “No guys Im nt at al gettn married, sum irrespnsible journo is respnsible4dis news n its sad dat dey posses no ethics n smply fabricate stuff.” (What? its twitter speak don’t judge her!) Riteish followed suit with a this tweet, “There is no truth to the article suggesting that i am getting married. Actually not a single line printed in that article is true.” Oh well.
Meanwhile I’m thinking there may be a little romance brewing between Genelia and Shahid (who are also Twitter buddies) I like how this takes “a little birdie told me” to a whole new dimension!
