Kapil Sharma has been in the news for mostly wrong reasons these days. It all began with his mid-flight spat with fellow cast-member Sunil Grover, which lead to the latter leaving the show. Things have deteriorated since then as the team has had to cancel multiple shoots because of Kapil’s ill-health. Actors like Shah Rukh Khan and now Ajay Devgn have had to deal with Kapil’s no-show and last minute cancellations because of his bad health. Seeing all this, the channel – Sony TV has decided to take the show off air.
With the comeback of one of its most successful shows Super Dancer, the channel has decided to give The Kapil Sharma Show, a break from TV. Here’s what a spokesperson told Indian Express about this development –
Kapil has been under the weather for sometime now. Due to which, we have mutually agreed to take a short break. However once Kapil has recovered completely, we will start shooting once again. We value our relationship with Kapil and wish him a speedy recovery.
The reality show, Super Dancer will now take The Drama Company’s time slot of 8 pm, which will be shifted to 9 pm, the slot for Kapil’s show. If and when Kapil’s show makes a return, it’ll be aired at 10 pm.
