Summer is here! And what better than sipping on a cocktail while you’re kissed by the warm sun at a quiet beach? There’s something about the calmness of the sea and the sound of the waves. It’s the best stress-buster isn’t it? We sure think it is. And since everyone deserves a holiday in the summer, we’ve got you a list of beaches in India that you should consider visiting this season. Here they are:

1. Ganpatipule, Ratnagiri

This beach is only a few hours from Mumbai city. Calm, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, this place is everything a busy person needs when on a break.

2. Havelock, Andaman Islands

Clean water, and sand between our toes, this is all you need when you’re on vacation. That and a cocktail, of course.

3. Palolem, Goa

Goa is always a go-to for a quick getaway from the city. But what we love about Goa is that it’s a brilliant mix of shopping, crowd, music and beaches.

4. Kovalam, Kerala

This is a great spot to go with your family or even just your SO. The view of the lighthouse will make you feel a sense of calm.

5. Kottakuppam, Pondicherry

If you’re adventurous, this is the best place to go. Try out the scuba-diving and other watersports here.

6. Marina Beach, Chennai

This is the second largest beach in the world. And apart from the beautiful beach, there are so many other places that you can visit here. There are memorials and other attractions like the Chepauk Palace and the Senate-House.

7. Gokarna, Karnataka

Adventurous much? Try out the parasailing, banana boat riding, bumper boar riding, dolphin spotting, jet skiing, and more!

To get away from all the stress you’ve been going through, all you need to go here and do is lay by the beach and sip on a drink of your choice. Make sure to try out the coastal food at all these beaches to enhance the experience.
