After the roaring success of Ranbir Kapoor‘s Sanju, the real-life Sanjay Dutt will finally pen down his own autobiography. The book is set to be published on the actors 60th birthday on the 29th of June 2018. We saw how dramatic his life was in Sanju, so we can only imagine how much more raw and honest his memoir is going to be. Harper Collins also confirmed that the book will, in fact, capture much more than the actor’s professional achievements.

Talking about his upcoming memoir, Sanjay said,

I have had the fortune of living a remarkable life, full of ups and downs, joys and sorrows. There are so many interesting stories to tell that I’ve never had the chance to tell before. I am looking forward so much to sharing my memories and emotions with readers everywhere.

Sanju baba will finally get to tell his own story in his own words to his fans rather than let them hear it through the media and other filmmakers. He will finally get to open up about losing his mother Nargis Dutt, the various women in his life, his run-in with the law and his relationship with his family.

According to the publishers, the book will focus on Dutt’s process of self-discovery and will take the reader through Sanju’s life in the 1980s and 1990s. They also said that the book will reveal a part of Sanjay Dutt even his most ardent fans were unaware of.

Woah! Now, this is one memoir we’re looking forward to.
