Alia Bhatt has time and again, proved her worth as a talented and versatile actor. But we are all aware of the actor’s dreamy voice and impeccable singing skills as well, courtesy her amazing work in the songs Samjhawaan from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniyan and Ikk Kudi from Udta Punjab. Both the songs went on to do really well and Alia was greatly appreciated throughout the industry for her talent.
In her third outing as singer, Alia revealed that she will be singing a song in her father’s next directorial venture – Sadak 2. The film is a sequel to the original, which was also directed by Mahesh Bhatt and starred his elder daughter Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Sadak 2 has his younger daughter aka Alia in the lead role along with Aditya Roy Kapur. Pooja Bhat and Sanjay Dutt from the prequel are also part of the cast. The film is going on floors in May this year and is slated for a 2020 release.
Interestingly, Alia, Aditya and Sanjay are currently gearing up for the release of their period drama – Kalank this month. They have been seen promoting their film about town recently. Alia has a host of films in her kitty now – from Sadak 2 to Takht to her film with Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali and her debut Telegu flm ‘RRR’ with Rajamouli.
Back to the song, we can’t wait to hear Alia’s melodious voice once again, and CANNOT wait to see her rock in all these films!
