Deepika Padukone recently attended the MET Gala looking like an absolute princess in her custom, metallic pink Zac Posen gown. She was appreciated for stepping up her game and doing justice to the Camp fashion theme. There was a lot of Desi girl represent at the MET this time, with Priyanka Chopra, Natasha Poonawala and Isha Ambani also in attendance. So, at the after party, the girls made sure to catch up!

Deepika wore a mustard yellow Zac Posen vintage dress with an oversized, striped fur coat and her hair tied back in a voluminous ponytail. Talking about the outfit inspiration, Deepika figured that her husband, Ranveer Singh was actually the inspiration for her look. In the meme Deepika shared on her Instagram story, Ranveer is wearing a neon greenish-yellow suit in one picture. He is wearing a black and white striped suit with crazy hair and shades in another picture. Deepika’s look surely looks like a classy mashup of the two looks! She herself couldn’t believe it and captioned her story – “Say Wha?!”
