South Indian heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda is doing his best to give back to society in these tough times. The last we heard of him he was helping out middle-class families with a unique initiative called the middle-class fund executed by the Deverakonda foundation. At a time when celebrities are mainly focused on lower-income families, Vijay took it upon himself to understand what middle-class families might be going through. But that’s not all, now, the actor is back with yet another initiative to help small and local entrepreneurs to help them rise from the financial and economic effects the lockdown has had on such businesses.

The Arjun Reddy actor came up with the idea of opening doorways for small and local entrepreneurs through his much-acclaimed lifestyle brand – Rowdy.

Vijay is the first star from the south to have his own lifestyle brand and Rowdy not only sells clothes — they do everything and anything that excites them. Right from uber-cool streetwear, lungis, slates, or even phone accessories – the cult brand sells out styles in hours after releasing them and has an array of products that are sold exclusively only on their Rowdy app.

Due to the economic crisis faced by small-time entrepreneurs due to this world-wide pandemic, Vijay has decided to throw open the doors of his online platform to all local entrepreneurs and promote their innovative products through it.

Speaking about the same he said:

Rowdy has made this decision to open its platform to innovative local entrepreneurs. What we have built is open to all. If you have cool, quirky, basically Rowdy products and you are a Local Rowdy write to us at local@rowdyclub.in”. This is a humble step taken by the brand to stand by the fellow citizens and bring out the best in them and help them rise.

This is a really thoughtful initiative by Vijay and we laud his efforts to help people around him.
