Rithvik Dhanjani Pens A Sweet Birthday Wish For Ex-Girlfriend Asha Negi

Shubanka Sridhar

Relationships may, for many reasons, break and people may move on, but the respect and admiration remains intact for some. Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi seem to be one such duo. On Asha’s birthday yesterday, Rithvik took to his Instagram to write a sweet note for her.

He posted an edited picture of two Asha’s sitting side by side, chilling on vacation. In his caption, he wrote that this is how she would be celebrating her birthday in quarantine – with herself! He also went on to write that she is the “epitome of self love and grace”.

Calling her Negi, he added to the note:

To be able to love yourself like you do is the truest form of being. The magnitude of your self love and being who you truly are is the reason why gods light shall always be shining upon you and I pray that there shall never be a dull moment In Your life, your smile shall light up the world wherever you go, May The kindness of your heart be showered upon the world to make it a better place. Fly high butterfly. Happy birthday.

This is such a sweet birthday wish!

Asha replied to the post and wrote, “So much love to you”, with a purple heart emoji.

The couple, who were dating for 6 years, and parted ways only recently. They fell in love on the sets of their show, Pavitra Rishta. Recently, speaking about her break-up to a publication, Asha had said that she has only love for Rithvik in her heart. Seems like it’s the same for him. We sure are glad all is well between them!

On the work front, Asha was last seen in the web series, Baarish, opposite Sharman Joshi. She is also a part of the second season of Kunal Kemmu‘s latest web show, Abhay. She is all set to make her film debut with Anurag Kashyap‘s Ludo which is all set for an OTT release on Netflix very soon. Coming to Rithvik, he recently quit the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi — Made In India, because he had to travel outside Mumbai for personal reasons and did not want to pose as a risk to his co-contestants’ health and safety.
