In a sea of terrible news of the increasing COVID-19 cases in the country, news about anyone testing negative and safe is something so relieving and reassuring. One such news we git today was of Alia Bhatt, who revealed that she has tested negative for the virus today.

The actress took to her Instagram to share the news and wrote, “The only time being negative is a good thing”.

Check it out:

The actress was working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Gangubai Kathiawadi as well as Ayan Mukerji‘s Brahmastra co-starring boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. While both Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranbir tested postive for the virus last month, Alia assured that she has self-isolated herself and has tested negative. But earlier this month, she shared a note stating that she had tested positive and is quarantining at home.

The actress is also set to star in her first PAN-Indian film, RRR, directed by S.S. Rajamouli, and recently shared her first look as Sita from the film. RRR also stars Ram Charan, Jr. NTR and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles. Alia and Ajay are also going to be seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi together, the teaser of which dropped a while ago.

We are glad she is feeling much better and cannot wait to see her back on screen very soon!
