If there’s one thing I instantly loved about Korean pop music when I first encountered it, it was the music videos! I absolutely loved how colourful, peppy and beautifully thought out they were — with so much attention being given to the look and feel of the song. So anytime there is a new K-pop track dropping, especially a BTS one, the music video is something we all look forward to.
And today’s a good day because BTS just dropped the music video of their latest track, Butter. This is their second English language song after their super-hit track, Dynamite that released last year. In this video, the boys — RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jung Kook, V, Jimin and Jin — start off by wearing slick, black suits which they soon switch with colourful and bright clothes as they get into the groove and dance their way into our hearts as they are seen singing about being ‘smooth like butter’. Well, their moves sure are!

BTS music videos never disappoint, and this one is no different! Isn’t it so full of colour and fun? If there’s one thing we needed in these times amidst a lockdown, it was a fun, peppy dance track to dance our blues away! And looks like we got just that.
The much adored K-pop band will also be performing ‘Butter’ on-stage for the first time at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards that is set to take place this weekend and I’m sure excited for that! What about you guys?
