As a big boxing fan, I am super excited to know that one of the best boxers of all time, Mike Tyson is on his way to Bollywood! Yes, you heard me, Mike will soon be seen in the upcoming sports drama, Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday. In the recent past, we had heard about Vijay and Ananya coming together on-screen for the first time. The news of Mike joining the Liger team came in as a wonderful surprise.
Ace filmmaker and producer, Karan Johar took to social media to announce that the former professional boxer will be a part of this film. He also released a black and white clip to introduce the boxing legend saying
“We are proud to announce, for the first time on Indian screens. The man who created history. Unbeatable icon, one and only legend, the great Mike Tyson, is on board for our prestigious project”.

Liger is scheduled to have a pan-India theatrical release and will be launched in five languages, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Just the way Mike has put on a great show in the boxing ring and won millions of hearts across the globe, I am confident that he will do the same on the silver screen as well. My excitement level is at an all-time high and I simply can’t wait to see the boxing superstar on the big screen soon.
