Back in 2013 when I watched Aanand L Rai’s Raanjhanaa I was left surprised because of Dhanush’s excellent performance, I must say the South Indian superstar is a powerhouse of talent. And now to my astonishment, the actor-director duo is coming back, and this time with superstar Akshay Kumar and the talented Sara Ali Khan for Atrangi Re. The very idea of all three together in one film is a treat to my ears and I am convinced that the film is going to be a joyride.

Akshay, Sara, and Dhanush’s trio seem to be a fun one. Talking about the same, Aanand L Rai shared how it was to work with the Sooryavanshi actor.

The trailer of Atrangi Re was released yesterday and it left me impressed, once again Dhanush was impeccable whereas Sara and Akshay are commendable. After the release of the trailer, the film has already started creating buzz to be the best OTT film.
Atrangi Re is going to be released exclusively on Disney+Hotstar just a day prior to Christmas i.e. on 24th December. This Aanand L Rai directorial is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Himanshu Sharma.
Other than Atrangi Re, Akshay and Aanand are going to come together once again for Rakshabandhan which will also star Bhumi Pednekar.
