The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a part of my life for a major portion of it. From Iron Man to the ongoing Moon Knight, there hasn’t been a single movie or show that I haven’t seen at least half a dozen times. The characters, even though fictional, have become a part of my life. And even Marvel understands this connection that fans of the universe have with it and they just keep getting better with every project.

The biggest USP of Marvel projects are its crossovers and surprises. Who can forget the iconic moment when the three Spider Man, Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield appeared together for the first time ever in Spider Man: No Way Home. Now the next project in the MCU is Doctor Strange In the Multiverse Of Madness led by Benedict Cumberbatch, and if reports are to be believed, it has bigger and better surprises for us fans, more than any other project in the franchise before.

Check out the trailer here:

The release of this sequel to Doctor Strange is turning out to be one of the biggest cinematic events this summer. The film, which releases on May 6 in India, has already opened its advance bookings, with shows already going house full at places.

Touted as a supernatural adventure, the trailers of the film have already shocked and thrilled the audience as we are getting to see a new avatar of Doctor Strange as his exciting new dark side is unleashed. What adds to the intrigue is the addition of Elizabeth Olsen‘s Wanda aka the Scarlet Witch, and the teased conflict and confrontation between them.

According to reports, unlike any other Marvel film, there will not be any screening of the movie in advance before its Hollywood premiere, which is set to be held just hours before the film’s worldwide release. But the main hook that has got all the Marvel fans around the globe in awe, is that there are more big surprises in Doctor Strange 2 than in Infinity War, Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home combined! That’s a big hint, isn’t it? My excitement level has just broken the barometer.

In Marvel StudiosDoctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. It’s a journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

The film stars Benedict, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. The film is directed by Sam Raimi and will release in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on May 6, 2022.

Amongst many of the surprises was one that was confirmed by Patrick Stewart himself. He will be making an appearance in the film as his character Professor Charles Xavier aka Professor X from the X-Men franchise. The crossover of the X-Men and Marvel universe in itself is such a big cinematic event, and then to learn that there are still bigger surprises in store, it has just made the wait for May 6 all the more longer. I can’t wait to book my ticket already and enjoy this cinematic marvel on the big screen. It’s going to be huge!
