We honestly love Instagram ‘cause we eat and breathe it every day if you know what we mean, hehe. And with the speed of them coming up with new updates and features almost every month it’s just too damn good. They’re genuinely making this app super user-friendly, safe and engageable for the audience. That’s the reason they’ve updated the app a lil‘ more and have added 4 new features for all of us to experience. Scroll down to know about these 3 features right away.
1. 90 Second Reels
This is by far our favourite update which has launched globally. Yes, if you go back to your Reels section you’d probably already have this update. 90-second Reels mean now more entertaining content will be seen which kinda would express the creator’s most authentic self to the audience. So, here’s your chance to go all out with your concepts, grow your community and shape your future as a creator/artist ’cause no one’s picture-perfect!
2. Interactive Stickers On Reels
The stickers that were only available on stories such as poll, quiz and emoji meter are now available on Reels too now. This feature can be used for knowing what your audience prefers, storytelling a video series and much more. Below are a few examples to start with!
- Poll: Making a two-part Reel? Put up a poll asking your audience what should happen in your next video so that they can help you shape the storyline themselves.
- Quiz: Put your audience’s skills to the test or teach them something new through this sticker.
- Emoji slider: Let your audience share how your content makes them feel with a sticker that makes the fire emoji even more powerful.
3. Import Your Own Audio
This is a complete game-changer for the ones who post Reels that require background audio to be added. You can now import your own audio directly within Reels to create a one-kind of a Reel. For this, use the import feature option to add any kind of audio from any video that at least is five seconds long. A friendly tip would be to make sure that you like the way the audio is sounding ‘cause others can use it too and you never know it could become a trend.
4. Templates On Reels
Instagram launched ‘Use Templates’ to make Reels as well. This means that if you’re scrolling through Reels and like someone’s templates you can tap on the same template and add your video content to it. It kinda pre-loads the audio and clip placeholders so, all you have to do is trim your clips. Tip: This can be used in the Reels that have quick transitions.
Try out these features and find a way to reach your audience in the best possible way. It feels like Instagram is making all our wishes come true slowly and steadily, right?
