Today’s Bigg Boss 16 episode showed how games should be played. The nomination special was a combination of confusion and strategy between the two friends group divided inside the house. The fights never get over, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary doesn’t support her group’s decision and takes sides with Shalin Bhanot. This pisses them off, now I’m just waiting to see the dynamics change.
A morning fight over ration has become a routine in the house, as Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia goes to ask Archana Gautam for some flour, she clearly denies it. Honestly, Archana cannot stop ranting about the ration and the kitchen. She also goes on to pick a fight with Priyanka by ordering her to do additional work in the kitchen, Priyanka protests against her demands. The fight only turns ugly when Archana calls out on Priyanka saying that, ‘Mummy-Papa ne sikhaya nahin kya?’, which makes Priyanka lose her calm. When her eviction was being discussed, Priyanka was the first to speak up for her, and Archana responds to her by stating, “ehsaan mat dikhana.” Sometimes, I wonder are they really besties or enemies. So, frenemies is the perfect term here.
If it’s complicated had a face it would have been Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot’s. The so-called couple is seen arguing over their issues and Tina feels that Shalin keeps betraying her and also has stored a lot of negativity over her. Shalin refers to her as a child and attempts to explain to her how reckless she is. Tina advises Shalin to keep her distance while being so picky about her appearance and what is captured on television.
Later on, even Sajid Khan tries to sort it out between them by stating his opinions on their relationship. Because everyone else is labelling them as a “couple,” Tina explains to Sajid that she doesn’t want to talk to Shalin. But Sajid points out to Shalin that Tina’s falling for him and it’s obvious. These two confuse me so much, but, I am patient and waiting to watch their progress in a relationship.
Today, Priyanka was the highlight of the nomination special. She played it really well. The house turned into a farm where Sheep were supposed to be fed to the wolf. The sheep were the contestants eligible for nomination. All the favourites Sajid selected yesterday were saved from this nomination task while the others had to fight for their survival. Shalin seemed to be running around the house trying to enlighten people with his strategic planning. He succeeds in taking Priyanka on his side as Priyanka is not ready to put faith in Archana. Because she believes that Archana would flip at the last moment. Archana really wanted to go first or second for the nominations but sadly majority votes didn’t stand by her. Priyanka, Ankit and Archana get saved while the rest are nominated. I must say Priyanka played an ‘A-Level’ game today and made a smart decision by siding with Shalin. Even though Gautam Vig and Soundarya Sharma get mad at her for supporting Shalin, Priyanka clarifies it like a boss.
Shalin receives a plate of delicious chicken dishes from Bigg Boss while they talk about Priyanka, the group’s chemistry, and their honesty. But that’s not all—also it’s tomorrow—his birthday. Putting their differences aside, the competitors enjoy wishing Sumbul Toqueer and Shalin a very good birthday by tossing them into the pool. Shalin also gave his bracelet to Sumbul as a gift, I won’t be surprised if Tina creates an issue on this as well. On the other hand, Gautam is not at all inclined to wish Shalin. Sumbul displays her joy at receiving a bracelet from Shalin.
The gossip quotient is always high in this house, Nimrit feels that Priyanka and Shalin might become best friends after today. Ankit Gupta and Priyanka’s relationship is being discussed by Sajid and the gang. Shalin also joins in the gossip and states that he feels Soundarya’s behaviour is turning like Priyanka’s.
With time we will get to see whether Priyanka’s group will still stick by her and whether will Archana prove her friendship to Priyanka by winning her trust back.
