Like I always say, I absolutely love how actors get to live so many lives through their characters. And just when I sit back thinking, I realized that last year was quite a stellar one for Ajay Devgn. In fact, I would call it the highest-grossing year for him. From cameos in RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi to his directorial Runway 34 and his OTT debut with Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness, there were so many lives Ajay lived on screen last year. And I am sure every experience was a great one, but that also makes me wonder how effortlessly actors manage to dabble from one part into another and still make sure to give dynamic performances.

In RRR, we saw Ajay play a fierce rebel leader, while in Gangubai Kathiawadi his role as Rahim Lala was very charming. Even in Runway 34, as a pilot who had a herculean task of saving the lives of his passengers during an emergency landing, Devgn kept me on the edge of my seat. Even in Rudra, Ajay played a quirky cop and this avatar grabbed a lot of eyeballs.

Throughout 2022, Ajay had several releases, and the one I really like was Drishyam 2. The film legit left me mind-blown. It not only created an impact on the audience but also on the Box Office. In fact, his performance as Chitragupt in Thank God was also a delight to watch. According to what certain trade analysts say, 2022 has been Ajay Devgn’s best year, he has made the highest yields at the Box Office with Drishyam 2 not just in India but overseas too.

With three times National Awards (The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Zakhm, and Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior), Ajay is all set to enthrall us with the action-social drama Bholaa which releases on March 30, followed by Amit Sharma‘s Maidaan which will be released in the summer of 2023. Ajay will also team up with Rohit Shetty (with whom he has given 10 blockbusters) in Singham Again, and with Neeraj Panday for a romantic thriller. Not only this but he will also be seen in a never-before-avatar in an Abhishek Kapoor film.

Looks like Ajay Devgn has a lot in store for you and me in 2023, and I am very excited to witness it all.
