On one hand, while Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to make her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan, the actress seems to be stopping at nothing as she adds another feather to her cap. Kareena’s upcoming film, The Buckingham Murders is all set to premiere at the London Film Festival 2023. The film directed by Hansal Mehta will be screened at the festival on the 14 and 15 of October.
The film The Buckingham Murders revolves around a cop and single mother, who loses her child in a shooting spree. When she is transferred to High Wycombe and is given to handle the case of a missing child, fresh wounds open up. Director Hansal Mehta who is helming this project addresses issues like themes of trauma, closure and the immigrant experience. He is known to handle these themes with an underlying sensitivity. Apart from this, the actress also has Jaane Jaan in her kitty, the teaser of which was released just recently.
