Television cuties Gautam Gupta and Smriti Khanna tied the knot yesterday and in attendance were a lot of television and Bollywood celebrities including Sussanne Khan and her kids, who looked absolutely adorable! One person who was missing from the celebrations was Mandana Karimi, who happens to be Gautam’s sister-in-law.
She tied the knot with his brother and designer Gaurav Gupta earlier this year after dating him for two long years. Unfortunately, the two separated after just a couple of months of living together. Mandana alleged that she was thrown out of her marital home and was denied entry back into the house. She also stated that his parents forced her to change her religion and asked her to stop working in Bollywood as it didn’t look good for the family. She then filed a case of domestic violence against Gupta and his family.
It was being rumoured that Gaurav wasn’t the only one she had problems with, and that she reportedly disliked her then future sister-in-law Smriti Khanna for no apparent reason. All of this seems quite messy, doesn’t it?
Oh well! Here’s wishing the newly weds a very happy married life and we’re hoping this family feud ends soon. 🙂
