Today’s episode of Bigg Boss 16 has got all the masala. From Sajid Khan getting his blood pressure high to Tina Datta crying over Shalin Bhanot, it’s the perfect amount of drama. Credits for the whole chaos created in the house go to two things one is Archana Gautam of course and the other to the weekly ration task. Before I start going on about today’s episode, let me make one thing clear Sajid was in the limelight today. Sajid uses a chit-lottery technique to distribute the house’s responsibilities. The rules are broken, i.e., nothing will be written in the house, and Bigg Boss doesn’t seem to enjoy this arrangement. Sumbul Toqueer‘s privileges are revoked and she is no longer permitted to remain in the room of favourites because she became Sajid’s partner in crime. Bigg Boss and his savage cum hilarious lines make this season juicier.
The whole Archana-Sajid situation was actually being sparked up since morning. Firstly, when Sajid was assigning duties Archana interrupts him and tries to suggest how to do it. When Sajid gave Archana the cleaning assignment, she rejected it, arguing that it should go to someone with less work and that she wouldn’t clean anything until after she finished taking a shower. What infuriated Sajid more is that Archana told him that it’s his ‘personal game’. He ends up expelling her from the kitchen.
The weekly ration task begins and honestly, this was a really fun one which everyone seemed to enjoy except Archana. Every week’s worth of food is kept in a location known as “Raja’s Godam,” and Sajid has the ability to keep an eye on things and manage the rationing. Everyone is enjoying and bringing in their ration, after the song has stopped, Archana violates the rules and continues robbing. She makes an attempt to defend herself by saying that she fell. This fight stops and starts again after Archana storms into Sajid’s room, screaming that he has been biased towards Shiv Thakare. This clearly looks like Archana instigating or trying to provoke Sajid again and again over the same issues. At this point, Sajid has turned red with anger to the point where his blood pressure rises and he needs to visit the medical room.
Apart from all this happening in the house, Bigg Boss seems to be really mad at the smokers. Because time and again Bigg Boss has warned them not to smoke in the open and rather should use the smoking room. But, all of them sit outside the couch near the smoking area having a gala time. From now on the smoking room is closed and Bigg Boss angrily suggests they smoke wherever they feel like. On which Sajid is unapologetic of being a smoker. Shalin moves out the couch in frustation of everyone breaking the rules, ironically he also was a part of the smoking gang.
Sitting on the couch and smoking in front of the camera and also on national television doesn’t seem right and that’s the same thing which Tina tried to explain to Shalin. I don’t know what happened or if was it just Shalin’s frustration of not getting to smoke in peace anymore, he lands up in a brawl with Tina. Later on, Tina is seen crying badly over the fact that Shalin doesn’t talk to her properly. Even when Shalin goes to convince her Tina shuts the bathroom door in his face. This love-hate relationship between the duo is leaving me confused, sometimes their chemistry is on top of the room on the other days this is what we get to see.
The house was very much chaotic today and it was exhausting to watch all the simultaneous drama happening. Shiv shouldn’t have scattered Archana’s clothes all over the place. But, honestly, I liked the way Archana sportingly took it. But, the sight to my sore is Abdu Rozik enjoying Shalin and Tina’s birthday cake. He also enjoyed wearing his robbery mask and intends to keep it for himself. This episode was too much to take in, I am still getting over it.
