After watching today’s episode I would like to say that Archana Gautam is back. In the last two days she didn’t create any drama but today, she proved that she is not someone who can keep quiet. Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot have left me and the whole house confused with their dynamics. If you missed out on the drama, read Bigg Boss 16 Day 52 Live Written Updates here. Sumbul Toqueer took her to stand for herself and I couldn’t be more proud.
Archana Gautam is back in action and does what she is a pro at doing. She lit a spark to a huge fight knowing the equation between Tina and Sumbul. Archana provokes Tina by complaining that her bedroom is messy and that no one in the house works as hard as Sumbul. Tina gives in to the pressure and justifies herself by saying that she cleans the space. Tina is upset that Archana believes Sumbul performs household duties while she does not. The other complaint she makes is that when she is the target of untidiness accusations, Sumbul doesn’t defend her. Like before, Shalin Bhanot makes an effort to convince Sumbul that she was wrong to allow Archana to criticise Tina. They don’t have a very successful conversation. She reminds Shalin that Tina has repeatedly accused and insulted her. Archana on the other hand is enjoying the drama that she created. The funniest part is that she just does it and walks away while the whole world is burning aside.
I enjoyed the nomination special task today. Every time there’s a nomination special in the Bigg Boss house the twist just gets more interesting. The house is turned into the crime scene where the shooter has to spare one contestant out of two and the contestants would convince the shooter with bribes. This made me laugh till my stomach hurt. Shiv Thakare, the first killer, decides to kill Archana rather than Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary when given the option, bringing up Archana’s constant need for doing things her way. Sajid and Ankit Gupta attempt to persuade Tina before she is designated as the next murderer. She finally decides to kill Ankit despite all her efforts. Being close to Sumbul and Shalin puts Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia in a challenging situation, and as a result, she kills Sumbul. Shiv is the last to be reappointed, and he is put up against Soundarya Sharma and Abdu Rozik. When she explains that Abdu is having trouble speaking, Abdu becomes irate.
I am now seriously puzzled by Tina. Today when Shain tries to explain to Tina that he is trying to be better for her and doesn’t want to lose their friendship, he receives a warning from her not to fall in love with him. She sometimes declares that she and he are lovers and acts possessively.
The whole episode has revolved around Tina and yet again Archana goes on to start a fight with her. What irritated me while watching part was disturbing everyone’s sleep in the middle of the night with a petty issue. Archana takes out the trash and goes to Tina’s room, informing her that there is wet dhaniya inside which is stinking. Nimrit is sleeping, which disturbs her and causes her to lose her cool. Furthermore, Archana leaves the smelly garbage bag in Tina’s room, and she has been pointing out her hygiene since the morning. Everyone in the house is irritated that an issue has arisen in the middle of the night.
The amount of drama this season has is impeccable. From Archana getting her punishment today because she mentioned her political party to Shalin and Nimrit doing sit up for talking in English, the show gets lightened up a bit. Abdu is the real sunshine in the house as he runs around trying to convince Shiv to give him a bar of chocolate from the captain’s room as it’s locked. He also attempts to open it but sadly fails.
