With a twist in the history of Bigg Boss, today was the first time that three captains were elected and given the Bigg Boss 16 house to rule. It wasn’t smooth though, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia got into an argument with Sajid Khan. Even though the wildcards, were fighting as Archana Gautam didn’t fail to start a fight between them.
Archana ignited a fight between Sreejita De and Vikkas Manaktala but, honestly, this started off as a joke where Archana was mocking Sreejita for the way she has cooked her Bhindi and stated that it might even have worms because it’s not cut properly. Sreejita played along and was being a good sport, but it only got heated when she tried to joke with Vikkas who was having soybean for dinner and asked him to even check that for having worms. He got irritated because he has been sick for a few days and would like proper food.
Honestly, Soundarya Sharma and Archana were enjoying it and so was I. The girls took rolling on the floor laughing a little too seriously.
The run for captaincy was something which got me hooked to my chair. To learn in detail about what the task was, read Bigg Boss 16 Day 72 live written updates here. It was a unique task where Shalin Bhanot, Tina Datta, Sumbul Touqeer, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and Soundarya were selected as the model and the constants had to select three of them to become the next captains by drawing them. It was clear that Nimrit didn’t want Priyanka to become the captain, but, Sajid wanted Priyanka to be one to sit on the throne. This caused differences in the mandali. Nimrit was upset about Sajid not giving her the chance and sticking to his words.
Later on, Nimrit sits with a mandali in an attempt to convey her inability to conceal her hatred for Priyanka. Sajid tries to persuade Nimrit of the reasoning behind his decision to make Priyanka captain. Sajid leads Shiv to a corner and informs him that he facilitated today’s event in order to expose Nimrit’s mechanism. Sajid tries to explain his decision to Priyanka, but she is unwilling to engage in hearing him out. Even though they say that Sajid is not involved, I feel that he has actually been a lot involved and finally, Nimrit has spoken up for herself rather than bottling up her feelings in, proud of her.
Another part which has kept me hooked is Abdu Rozik‘s love interest. Sajid explains Nimrit that Abdu is going too far about his feelings for her. Sajid advises that she should tell him that she has a boyfriend outside the house because surprisingly Abdu has been planning to propose to her. I mean just ‘wow’. The other love birds of the house, Shalin and Tina are still in a dispute and Sumbul is again having a breakdown because when Shalin tries to talk to her, Sajid advices not to but at the same time give her a statement to do whatever she wants.
There is a lot happening in the Bigg Boss 16 house, from love interests to intriguing fights and drama there is more to come as the new captains of the house are named ‘girl power’, Sumbul, Tina and Soundarya will be seen donning the throne.
