The Bigg Boss 16 house had a slightly different drama than usual. It went on from Archana Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary‘s cracking to Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Abdu Rozik ‘s relationship being questioned by Sajid Khan. Today was just like a power-packed drama episode over the brawls taking a toll on friendship and too much feeling destroying another one.
Priyanka gets frustrated and bursts into tears early in the morning her bestie, Archana gets in a fight with her. As it’s Priyanka’s turn to make breakfast, Archana goes into the kitchen and finds out that Priyanka is preparing a different breakfast for her and Ankit Gupta. The frenemies go on to have a huge argument just because Archana believes that Priyanka is altering the needs of the other contestants in return for her different breakfast. But, I hope they soon give this fight up and makeup like every time.
There was a very unique task in the Bigg Boss 16 house where the activity room was turned into a wish-granting library. They are divided into two teams, Team Black and Team White. The task assigned to these teams requires two members from each team to prepare gold biscuits; the team with the most biscuits wins the round. A member of the winning team will have access to the wish-granting library. This allows Shalin Bhanot and Nimrit to read letters from their home. It was sad to watch how home-sick they were after they were left in tears. It turned into an emotional rollercoaster.
It was easy for Nimrit to read the letters but Archana stood like a rock in front of the activity room giving Shalin a hard time entering it as she could have also got a chance to go in. But, as the contestants were against her, they didn’t allow her the privilege.
Tina Datta had left behind Soundarya Sharma and Sumbul Toqueer today, and by pressing the buzzer, she had gained an advantage that she could use after the task. It was the power to choose a captain for the captaincy’s run, but she obviously chooses Vikkas Manaktala from the new wild cards, between Sreejita De and him. Sajid had chosen Soundarya for the task, while Ankit wanted Abdu to be the next captain. The captaincy run next week should be entertaining to watch.
When Sajid interferes with Abdu and Nimrit’s friendship, the episode becomes very interesting to me. Sajid fears that Abdu will break his own heart by falling in love with Nimrit, and despite Abdu’s repeated assurances that he understands and is cautious, Sajid persists in his love for Nimrit. He later calls Nimrit and criticises her for not telling Abdu clearly that she has a boyfriend, despite the fact that Nimrit has always mentioned it to Abdu. I’m not sure what Sajid is doing in between their dynamics, but I believe they should be left alone. Sajid, on the other hand, cares for Abdu as his brother and does not want him to suffer from a broken heart. Nimrit breaks down emotionally because she feels she has hurt Abdu.
The biggest questions of mine which I am hoping would be resolved further are whether will the frenemies, Priyanka and Archana get back together and whether the people’s favourite duo Nimrit and Abdu get awkward after what happened today. It has left me at an edge.
