Jaane Jaan directed by Sujoy Ghosh is a thrilling murder mystery that everyone seems to be thoroughly enjoying. The film is an adaptation of Japanese author Higashino Keigo’s best-selling 2005 novel The Devotion of Suspect X. Apart from Kareena Kapoor, it also stars Jaideep Ahlawat who plays the role of Kareena’s shy neighbour in the film and Vijay Varma, who essays the role of a cop. Vijay Varma who plays the role of a smart cop, who also seems to be smitten by his one and only suspect in a murder case shared this interesting story related to his performance in the film. The actor recalled how after Jaane Jaan came out, Jaideep Ahlawat and he got a call from the Badshah of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan. He said how he called the two after watching Jaane Jaan to shower them with some praise. Jaideep also added that when he called him, he asked if he was free to talk because he had some things to say. In response to King Khan himself calling him, Jaideep followed it up by saying that if he gets a heart attack because of this moment, it will be on SRK.
No matter how big of a star you become, when Shah Rukh Khan himself calls you to appreciate your work, there is no way you are not bound to get star-struck.
