This Bigg Boss 16 is unique from the previous season in a way that not only the audience is involved in voting, but also the fans get a chance to select the captain this season. But, that’s not it more crazy situations are happening in the house and Vikkas Manaktala is been quite in the spotlight, fighting with Sumbul Toqueer and Archana Gautam. Usually, the episode starts with a one fight but today the house faces back-to-back storms. Firstly, Vikkas and Sumbul’s fight from yesterday continues and shows no signs of subsiding. They both wanted to participate in the third round of the ration activity but were turned down because they couldn’t agree on anything. Vikkas continues to explain to Sajid Khan why they fought over the ration task yesterday, but this argument gets heated when Sumbul appears nearby and defends her. Sumbul is called a hypocrite and a liar by Vikkas, and she responds by making a joke about him arguing with a teenager.
Even though Vikkas has received a lot of attention, the true star of Bigg Boss 16 is Maahim, the new furry member of the house. Shiv Thakare and Shalin Bhanot are using their flirting skills to entice her. At least Maahim enjoys Archana’s company. Tina Datta has found Maahim to whom she can vent. The four-legged chases Abdu Rozik as he runs around the house. But she’s a sweetheart who spreads joy throughout the house. I’m so glad Bigg Boss brought her in.
Archana, who is known for having massive fights in the house, gets involved once more. She is also renowned for being the kitchen’s queen. Since she was the first to arrive, Archana wants to use the stove while Vikkas is in the kitchen preparing his own tea. However, Vikkas does not budge from where he is currently standing. They both start screaming at the top of their lungs, and Archana pulls out the pot, causing a splash that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary just about avoids hitting her with. Vikkas pushes the vessel away in fury after Archana places it in front of his face. Soundarya Sharma is upset by Vikkas’ actions and tells him that he can’t behave like this. Thank goodness it doesn’t land on the people standing there or it would be a siren for another drama.
The “BB Captaincy Chunaav” was the show’s high point and most entertaining segment, which kept me upbeat the entire time. This has a fascinating twist because it differs from every day. To select the new captain of the house, there would be three batches of fans entering the house. Shiv, Abdu, and MC Stan are chosen by the participants as potential captains. Since they were all friends, it was genuinely a very small competition, making it easier and less dramatic but filled with fun. The audience is incredibly excited to see Abdu when he takes the stage first. He hilariously promotes his captaincy by being cute and funny. Shiv incorporates his Maharashtrian element into the speech in an effort to emotionally engage the audience. In addition to adding his swag, MC Stan also supports his friends and closes the speech with his iconic “Shembdi.”
The dynamic dance performance by Shalin, Sumbul, Shiv, and Priyanka for the fans was simply too good to keep the entertainment level high. The fans elect Shiv as the new captain of the house as the three rounds go by very smoothly and all three candidates support one another. Everyone anticipated that Abdu would take over as captain, but Abdu has no effect on it he appears ecstatic that his friend has been appointed. According to Sajid, Shiv’s connection to the audience was personal.
The house has been a rollercoaster with a number of serious fights happening. It’s almost shaken. But, Maahim has continued to keep the stable and sane. A new captain, Shiv has been elected and Bigg Boss 16 is back again to the legacy way of keeping one captain at a time. How is Shiv going to perform in the following days and whether Vikkas and Sumbul going to solve issues further only time will tell.
